Tuesday Mornings: 3/7, 3/14. 3/21, 3/28: The Character and Wellness Committee is pleased to continue offering some mindfulness to Grand View through the month of March! We are offering Morning Mindfulness with Joanie to any student in grades 3-5. Joanie Plake, a former elementary teacher, current yoga instructor and owner of Breathe and Learn, will be leading the sessions. The goal of Morning Mindfulness is to help students start their day with a healthy mind and attitude. Through breathing exercises and mindset activities, students will learn to simply be present and prepare for the day ahead. With practice, these skills will hopefully not only help in the morning, but eventually carry over into their daily school and home life. Please encourage your children to come by and check it out!
